From the holy city of Katra in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India, stands a shrine that is revered by millions of devotees from around the world. Mata Vaishno Devi Temple is a popular Hindu pilgrimage site, where one can seek blessings from goddesses Lakshmi, Saraswati, and Durga. The three goddesses are manifested in the form of three natural rock formations, known as pindies. This is a unique pilgrimage where devotees can take a trek through Ardhkuwari Cave, known as the “Way to Eternity,” where the Mata Vaishno Devi meditated for nine months to hide from Bhairo Nath Ji. It is here that one can witness the unwavering faith of the people in the goddess, overcoming all hurdles.
On arrival at Jammu Railway Station/ Airport, you will be greeted by a representative who will give you a quick overview of the tour. Following which, you will be transferred to the nearby town of Katra. After checking in to the hotel and taking some rest, you can spend the rest of the day exploring local temples and markets.
Begin your day before sunrise with a nutritious breakfast and embark on a journey to the divine Mata Vaishno Devi Temple, situated at an altitude of 5200 feet on Trikuta Mountain Peak. During your trek, take appropriate breaks and make sure to keep yourself hydrated and energized with snacks and water. You may reach the temple gates by afternoon, and then begin your spiritual experience with the puja, aarti and darshan. Feel the positive vibes of the sacred atmosphere, and once done, start trekking downwards towards the base camp at Katra. Upon arrival, take a break and find a restaurant near you for a evening tea, followed by a dinner at hotel and restful night stay.
After enjoying your breakfast, it is time to check out from the hotel. We will then take you to the nearest Railway Station/ Airport for your onward journey.
